LHA is in search of a program lead to oversee the strategic planning, development and implementation of an exciting diversity and inclusion program. The program aims at raising awareness and building the capacity of aged care service providers to better support LGBTIQ+ older people. The Ageing in Aged Care program encompasses a variety of activities, including resource development, workforce training, engaging with key stakeholders and building strategic partnerships.
- Full-time 12-month contract (contracted until June 2024 with likelihood of extension)
- Based in Central CBD; Castlereagh St, NSW, 2000

- Looking for a proactive, confident program lead to oversee the development and delivery of an exciting national initiative
This role will be responsible for:
- Designing and developing training resources and programs, and coordinating the national delivery of these programs to aged care service providers across Australia
- Providing support to the program partners across Australia to ensure the successful delivery of the Ageing in Aged Care program
- Engaging with key LGBTIQ+ and aged care stakeholders and building strategic partnerships to enhance the delivery of the Ageing in Aged Care program
- Promoting the program on a national scale by attending conferences, exhibitions and events and engaging with peak bodies
- Collaborating with the Director of Training and Capacity Building on strategic planning, addressing reforms in the aged care space and developing programs in partnership with the advisory committee
