National LGBTI Health Alliance 2021 Conferences Survey

Introduction

This survey is now closed.

It was to assist with planning for Australia’s premier conferences focused on the health and wellbeing of lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, intersex, queer and sexuality, gender, and bodily diverse people and communities throughout Australia.

The survey will take just five to ten minutes and you can choose to comment on one or both conferences.

Background

The National LGBTI Health Alliance is the national peak health organisation in Australia for organisations and individuals that provide health-related programs, services and research focused on lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, and intersex (LGBTI) people.

In April 2021, the Alliance will host:

  • 11th Health in Difference Conference—brings together community members, community organisations, health practitioners, researchers, academics, policy makers, advocates and others interested in improving the mental, physical and emotional wellbeing of LGBTI people.
  • 5th National LGBTI Ageing and Aged Care Conference—brings together aged, health and human service providers to develop their knowledge, skills and practice to meet the needs of LGBTI consumers.

In response to COVID-19, the 2021 conferences will be held online at the same time over three consecutive Fridays on 16 April, 23 April and 30 April 2021.
