WEBINAR: Free to Exist: Participation data on LGBTIQA+ young people in sport and physical activity

Young LGBTIQA+ people continue to experience and witness alarming rates of homophobia/biphobia/ transphobia in sport and movement settings.

In this webinar, Dr Ryan Storr from Swinburne University will share data on participation rates, experiences of discrimination, and factors influencing LGBTIQA+ young people’s engagement in sport and physical activity. Dr Storr will then explore recommendations for creating inclusive and welcoming sports environments and engage with experts on fostering safer spaces.
