Sexual Violence Prevention Program Lead - Flexible location - part time, contract

This role is part time and based remotely anywhere in Australia or a hybrid based in Sydney. The Sexual Violence Prevention (SVP) Program Lead is responsible for the successful and professional management of LHA’s SVP program. The core focus of this role is to ensure that LHA’s SVP program is delivered to the highest standard and is guided by current research and models of best practice. As a peak body, LHA is not a direct service or program provider, LHA works with partners across Australia to deliver programs and initiatives with LHA providing high level national coordination. This role requires demonstrated high level project and partnership management experience.

Policy and Research Lead - Health Peak - Sydney / Canberra - full time, contract

The Policy and Research Lead is part of a small team that has oversight of LHA’s policy, advocacy, research and communications activities. As part of the Policy, Research and Communications Team, the position holder works at a national level with legislators, policymakers, peak bodies and service providers to reduce health and wellbeing disparities experienced by LGBTIQ+ populations.

LGBTIQ+ Health Australia, (formerly the National LGBTI Health Alliance), is the national peak health organisation in Australia for organisations and individuals that provide health-related programs, services and research focused on lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex and queer people and other sexuality, gender and bodily diverse (LGBTIQ+) people and communities. Dropping the “+” from our name only occurs within digital formats that do not allow mathematical symbols, such as within our domain name, handles and hashtags.
