Champions - EOI Registration and Training

To register your interest in joining the MindOUT Champions network, please complete the form below.

With mental health statistics so disproportionately affecting LGBTIQ+ people, we need to take action to change the way we interact, provide services, and include people. We want to collectively make our community a safer, kinder, and more inclusive place for LGBTIQ+ communities. LGBTIQ+ Health Australia offers training and additional support to professionals in community organisations and mental health services, to improve support and inclusivity of services.

Training offerings include a Champions Leadership Training - this training is for people working in mental health or suicide prevention in Australia who would like to promote LGBTIQ+ inclusive practice, both within and outside your organisation.

Undertaking this training is also part of the induction to participate in the ongoing MindOUT Champions network, a group of professionals working in community organisations and/or mental health and suicide prevention who meet monthly to strengthen their LGBTIQ+ inclusive practice and support each other.
