LHA is proud to be working with the Australian Government to administer the LGBTIQA+ Health Program (LHP) in 2026. The LHP is an exciting grants program that will support organisations offering health and wellbeing services to LGBTIQA+ people to apply for grants that enable the implementation of key elements of the National Action Plan for the Health and Wellbeing of LGBTIQA+ People 2025-2035.
Further updates with specific details will be provided in early 2026, including the types of grants that will be available, who can apply for grants and timelines for when grant rounds will be open.
A dedicated email address has been set up for all enquiries about the LHP, ([email protected]) to answer more specific questions about the grants once the program is launched.
The LHP is an Australian Government initiative reflecting the government’s commitment to prioritise the health and wellbeing of LGBTIQA+ people and to build the capacity of organisations offering dedicated health and wellbeing initiatives for LGBTIQA+ communities.
The National Action Plan for the Health and Wellbeing of LGBTIQA+ People 2025-2035 is available for download on the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing website here.
