LHA is proud to be working with the Australian Government to administer the LGBTIQA+ Health Program (LHP). The LHP is an exciting grants program that will support organisations offering health and wellbeing services to LGBTIQA+ people to apply for grants that enable the implementation of key elements of the National Action Plan for the Health and Wellbeing of LGBTIQA+ People 2025-2035.
Updates about future grant rounds will be posted on the Australian Government’s GrantConnect portal (https://www.grants.gov.au/) and sent directly to LHP email subscribers. We recommend subscribing below to receive grant announcements, guideline updates and FAQ responses. Please note, this subscription is separate from other LGBTQ+ Health Australia newsletters.
A dedicated email address has been set up for all enquiries about the LHP, ([email protected]) to answer more specific questions about the LHP.
The LHP is an Australian Government initiative reflecting the government’s commitment to prioritise the health and wellbeing of LGBTIQA+ people and to build the capacity of organisations offering dedicated health and wellbeing initiatives for LGBTIQA+ communities.
The National Action Plan for the Health and Wellbeing of LGBTIQA+ People 2025-2035 is available for download on the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing website here.
