Working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander LGBTQA+ young people

This webinar is mainly for workers in LGBTIQ+ member organisations who may work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander LGBTQA+ young people.

Presenters:

Shakara Liddelow-Hunt (they/she) is a Wajarri Yamatji who grew up on Noongar country. They are a PhD student and Research Assistant at the Telethon Kids Institute and the University of Western Australia, focused on the mental health and social and emotional wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander LGBTQA+ young people.

Mirella Wilson (she/her) is a cisgender bisexual PhD student who is interested in competency development for healthcare workers who support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander LGBTQA+ young people. Mirella has a background in organisational psychology in training development and currently lives and works on Noongar country as a mental health practitioner with adult populations.
