Postponed due to illness.

Unfortunately, this webinar has been postponed due to illness. We will reschedule this webinar in early 2025.

What do the changes to vaping laws mean for LGBTIQ+ people?

From 1 July 2024, vapes are only available at pharmacies to help people quit smoking or manage their nicotine dependence.

While we need more research on LGBTIQ+ communities, we know that smoking among gay, lesbian, and bisexual (LGB) people is declining, use of vapes and e‑cigarettes has more than doubled, with LGB people more likely to use e‑cigarettes than heterosexual people.

The presentation will outline the evidence and the implications of the changing regulations.
