LHA has provided feedback on the draft My Health Records (Information Commissioner Enforcement Powers) Guidelines 2026. The submission focused on privacy, safety and trust, particularly for trans and gender-diverse people and others who may face harm if sensitive information is disclosed.

We emphasised the importance of strong enforcement powers, clear regulatory protections and system settings that prevent inappropriate disclosure and support confidence in digital health systems.
