LHA has made a joint submission to the Victorian Parliamentary Inquiry into anti-LGBTIQA+ hate crimes, in partnership with Victorian member organisations.

The submission highlights hate as a determinant of health, with significant impacts on mental health, safety, and access to services.

It calls for a coordinated response that strengthens data collection, legal protections, and investment in LGBTIQ+ community-controlled organisations, aligned with the National Action Plan for the Health and Wellbeing of LGBTIQA+ People 2025–2035.
