RSVP Here

As Australia reopens from lockdown and border closures, what has COVID meant for older LGBTIQ+ people and what does it mean for future healthcare?

Join Canadian Gloria Gutman, Research Associate and Professor Emerita at Simon Fraser University to explore of how older Canadians perceive the impact of COVID-19 on their health and lifestyle, and its impact on preparing for future healthcare. Gloria will focus on findings from LGBTQ older persons in a Canada-wide online survey.

Australian researcher Mark Hughes, Professor of Social Work in the Faculty of Health, Southern Cross University will join Gloria to explore connections and differences in the Australian context, before taking your questions. What do the research findings tell us about ageing and aged care planning?
