Supporting lesbian, bisexual and queer cisgender women through premenstrual dysphoric disorder, perimenopause and menopause.

Supporting lesbian, bisexual and queer cisgender women through premenstrual dysphoric disorder, perimenopause and menopause.

This webinar will explore how tailored health information and clinical care can better support lesbian, bisexual and queer (LBQ+) cisgender women experiencing premenstrual dysphoric disorder, perimenopause, and menopause.

The discussion will highlight new fact sheets co-developed by Jean Hailes for Women and LHA, based on existing Jean Hailes resources and updated with input from LHA and its member organisations to ensure relevance for LBQ+ cisgender women.

The session will bring together lived-experience and clinical perspectives to explore how these conditions are experienced, understood and managed, and the role inclusive health communication can play in improving outcomes for LBQ+ women.

Specific resources will be developed for trans men, non-binary and gender-diverse people assigned female at birth, experiencing premenstrual dysphoric disorder, perimenopause and menopause. We look forward to discussing those tailored resources and supports in a future webinar.
