Leadership in Action: LGBTIQ+ Suicide Prevention Forum

The Leadership in Action: LGBTIQ+ Suicide Prevention Forum, 12 & 13 May 2022, is a community-focused forum that brings together key MindOut stakeholders to discuss various types of leadership in Australian LGBTIQ+ suicide prevention. MindOut develops and delivers national suicide prevention initiatives for the mental health and suicide prevention sectors to help them meet the needs of LGBTIQ+ populations. The MindOut program aims to improve mental health outcomes and reduce suicide and suicidal behaviour amongst LGBTIQ+ people and communities.

LGBTIQ+ Health Australia, (formerly the National LGBTI Health Alliance), is the national peak health organisation in Australia for organisations and individuals that provide health-related programs, services and research focused on lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex and queer people and other sexuality, gender and bodily diverse (LGBTIQ+) people and communities. Dropping the “+” from our name only occurs within digital formats that do not allow mathematical symbols, such as within our domain name, handles and hashtags.
