Members are invited to our next Capacity Building Session featuring Dr Yael Perry of Telethon Kids. Dr Perry will present on 'Transforming Families', a digital hub of evidence-based resources, to assist with supporting families of trans and gender diverse children and young people.

Parental support is pivotal in nurturing trans and gender-diverse children and young people, yet past research undertaken by the Telethon Kids Institute has revealed that many parents and carers lack understanding, or do not have access to relevant resources, which hinders their ability to provide appropriate support.
